Described by its creators as ‘part flavour laboratory, part parallel reality vortex’, The Chambers of Flavour proved to be a complex and ultimately very satisfying challenge in sound design and systems engineering for co-sound designers Dom Kennedy and me. The creative opportunities for sound design and composition for Gingerline would hardly be found in traditional theatre contexts and I very much enjoy being a co-creator of these fantastic events.
